Der Kanuverein DJK Ruhrwacht wurde Mitte September 2021 vom Deutschen Kanu Verband mit der Vereinsauszeichnung "Aktiv für Familien" für die Jahre 2021/2022 ausgezeichnet!

Die DJK Ruhrwacht e. V. wird auch im Vereinsverzeichnis des Deutschen Kanu-Verbandes e.V. als "Aktiv für Familien" geführt.
